Photography can make ordinary days feel visible. I saw that the CEWE Photo Award 2026 is open for submissions, with the theme “Our world is beautiful.” I like that kind of sentence. It reminds me that beauty is not always far away. Sometimes it is a street corner, a small shadow, a window reflection, or a person waiting quietly at a tram stop.
